The one thing I always tell people they MUST get
as soon as they are able is their own autoresponder.

Never, NEVER put all your hard work (information on
your contacts) into a company owned system! Many
months…years, even…can evaporate in an instant.

Many of us have learned that lesson the hard way…

Hey Kim , Great Message. There is always some new gadget that’s out there that promises to do this, that, and the third. I good check your tools and lose the stuff that does not serve you. I sure will check my own tools for necessity.

A lot people jump in and buy every tool they come across and then they can’t figure out why they aren’t making any money. Everything costs money. When looking at a tool, wait for a week and see if you still want it.

I agree that an autoresponder is a important investment with some way of getting opt-ins, either a lead capture page or a blog with a web form.

I give every newbie the advice of “Don’t try all the new tools right away.” Give it time, take a week or two to make a decision or you will find yourself flooded with tools that you will never end up using.

I have to admit I’m a sucker for a good tool. But Kim is right. Don’t pay for a tool before you need it. Having your own autoresponder is a must.

I enjoyed your message in this video Kim. I’ve seen this first hand and your right about not needing all these tools when getting started. Actually some of these tools offered by so called “companies” are never needed.

Hopefully a lot of people listen to this video and see the light.

Kim is right when she says get your own auto-responder.
